Modesty, ummh

Friday evening and I'm tired.

The roads were blocked, money seems to not flow at the moment, and the internet is also slow because it always is on Friday afternoons.

So get upset or what?

Naw. Modesty is in order. Slow down. Take it easy now. One more place to go tonight, but there I can just stretch my legs, drink tea and listen to other people talking.

Modesty is not raising a fuss. It's going with the flow. Who am I to tell the rest of the world they're wrong.

I said a few prayers. I wonder when and why we forgot that habit to pray while we go through the day. It works like a charm. Left to my own devices, I'd be ranting and raving right now. Somehow without that divine contact human beings are not complete.

Of course not everything claimed to be divine contact, actually is :) Sadly not. When someone tells you they know what divine will is, particularly for you, or some third party, smile, shake your head and walk away. Throw it out. They're wrong.

Divine will for you is what YOU are finding out when you get in touch with your God. And if you think it's Him, or Her, or Them, who told you to put all your money on Red, well, maybe you want to keep learning...

It's not that easy. But it's not that complicated, either. Just do it.
